Universal Design For Learning And Assistive Technology Director Area Wide
Is responsible for coordinating and monitoring various assistive technologies and universal design practices to assure equity in access for all students by assisting faculty and staff create and present curricula and courses that are usable by all learners. Candidate must be able to demonstrate expertise in information technology with an emphasis on computer applications used in classroom settings, demonstrate high level of expertise in public education's responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act and federal and state laws which mandate equal access in a post-secondary environment, accessibility standards such as section 508, WCAG 2.0, and Federal Communication Commission guidance.
