Establishes and maintain the quality assurance program for all radiation therapy, radiation physics equipment and patient treatment parameters and execution. Recommend and advise on purchase of radiation therapy equipment. Advance the field of radiation oncology with clinical projects and innovative approaches in the care of patients.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics in the physical or related sciences.
At least 2 years clinical experience in radiation oncology physics with specialty clinical training in Proton Therapy Physics (1Year).
ABR Board Eligible, Part I
Demonstrates experience and competency in the commissioning and routine QA for new state-of-the art radiation treatment machines including Proton therapy, monthly and annual linear accelerator/Cyclotron calibration procedures.
Computer programming, capable in independent work.
