A specialty pharmacy focuses on the long-term, complex treatment of chronically ill patients. Due to the complex nature of chronic conditions, clinical monitoring and intervention are common. At Amber Pharmacy, we understand patient relationships make the difference when dealing with chronic, ongoing medical conditions. This is why we utilize a team of pharmacists, nurses, care coordinators, enrollment specialists and benefit coordinators to provide specialized medications. Education and support are also provided to our patients and their caregivers throughout the patient’s treatment and care. Our History Founded in 1998, Amber Pharmacy was one of the first pharmacies in the country to solely focus on the needs of patients with chronic conditions. The company began with two employees and one location; today Amber Pharmacy has over 200 employees and eleven locations. Amber Pharmacy is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska and has pharmacies strategically located throughout the country, including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, San Bernardino, Buffalo, Philadelphia and Richmond.
