AtlantiCare, the largest healthcare organization in southeastern New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Director of Total Rewards to join our growing team, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer.
Our Senior Director of Total Rewards leads our Compensation and HR Technology Managers, as well as our Benefits Lead, in developing solutions and strategies to position AtlantiCare as a nationally recognized employer of choice. We are looking for a forward-thinking, flexible and proactive leader who can not only guide the organization in Total Rewards-related matters, but can also help to address new challenges and opportunities, developing innovative partnerships and fresh lines of business. In the current competitive marketplace, attracting and retaining top talent is key to our success.
Job responsibilities include:
- Driving strategic planning and management of the health system's compensation and benefits program to attract and retain top talent, ensuring our Total Rewards philosophy and programs are incorporated.
- Evaluating AtlantiCare's existing compensation, benefits and wellness initiatives and comparing them with comparable positions elsewhere to ensure competitiveness in the current market.
- Serving as the system expert in creating and administering voluntary benefits, 403b, 457 and retirement, life, disability, relocation, rewards and recognition programs.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of federal, state and local legislation influencing compensation to guide health system leadership.
- Working closely with IT and HRIS leaders in support of our business objectives.
- Overseeing HR service delivery and budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of all resources.
Position qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Total Rewards positions, including 5 years of designing, implementing and managing compensation and benefits programs.
- Experience with compensation and equity program design and administration, plus knowledge of health, retirement and welfare plan design and practices.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- MBA or equivalent graduation degree and DDI, PCC, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
