Qualifications Required
A Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resource Management or a related field with three years of related occupational experience are required. Additionally, familiarity with teaching and developing curriculum is preferred. Individual should have strong computer skills both with hardware and software, along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Should be detail-oriented. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays. Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to negotiate with presenters and outside organizations.
General Summary
The Leadership Development Coordinator/Trainer is responsible for developing and administering the leadership training activities designed for companies and organizations especially in the Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney region. These responsibilities will include implementing, designing, coordinating, conducting and marketing the college's Leadership Development programs. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures.

Qualifications Required
Requires individual with a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Systems Administration, Telecommunications, Network Administration, Computer Science, or related area. Three or more years of related work experience preferred. Additionally, experience with Microsoft OS and applications, VMware virtualization technology and HP Server hardware platforms. Technical and vendor certifications are encouraged. Ability to manage and prioritize projects and respond to deadlines. Requires continuing education regarding current technologies via training and learning opportunities. Must have excellent communication skills in order to work with team members, staff, students and vendors.
General Summary
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware, software and related infrastructure technologies. Individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the enterprise. Works closely with college entities on project planning, implementation and ongoing support. Ensures system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling faculty, staff and student success. Performs other duties as assigned.
Trainer-Truck Driving Program
Hastings

Qualifications Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of Truck Driving Experience. Valid CDL Class A license and maintain a good standing in accordance with DOT regulations is required.
General Summary
The Truck Driving Trainer will work with the Truck Driving Program Supervisor to support the instructional process. The duties of the Trainer will be to manage the over the road and driver training range and schedule students and equipment for efficient use of resources. They will instruct, observe, and evaluate students as they accomplish driving maneuvers on the range and over-the-road. Trainers will assist with classroom instruction by preparing and giving presentations of instructional materials scheduled and approved by the Program Supervisor. These duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Nurse Aide/Med Aide Trainer

Requires an understanding of training techniques, methods, and strategies; knowledge and use of computers and software; and communication skills. This includes the ability to read, plan, make decisions, and facilitate student learning experiences. Normally acquired through a minimum of an associate's degree and requires a current RN license to act as Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Nursing Assistant Program Coordinator.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities of nursing assistants and medication aides employed in health care settings. Minimum of two years nursing experience required, one year of which must have been in a nursing home or other long-term care facility.
Substantial interpersonal skills required to communicate with students and staff at various levels. Requires a relatively high level of analytical ability. Prepares and submits budget requests to supervisor, monitors program expenses, and evaluates overall effectiveness of programs.
Requires the ability to travel. Valid driver's license is required.
General Summary
The Nurse Aide/Medication Aide (NA/MA) Trainer is responsible for delivering approved curriculum to students enrolled in the Nurse Aide and Medication Aide courses)offered on the Columbus, Hastings, and Grand Island campus, as well as possible off-site locations (permanent centers, high schools, long-term care facilities). This individual also serves as the Lead Trainer for each program, which includes serving as Nurse Aide Program Coordinator, as defined by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Service (NDHHS). Individual will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Health Programming Director

Requires individual with a Bachelor's degree in health, education, business or related field with a minimum of two years of work experience in healthcare or health sciences field. Preference given to those who have experience coordinating health related training activities, project management / supervisory experience, and/or those with current RN License. Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with various internal and external constituencies including government entities, health agencies an facilities.
Nursing Instructor(s)

BSN required, MSN preferred. A valid, non-encumbered Registered Nurse License. Must have 1 year of medical - surgical nursing experience. Previous teaching/education experience is preferred.
Full - time medical surgical nursing instructor to teach practical and associate's degree nursing students primarily on the Columbus Campus. Must have ability to demonstrate and apply effective communication skills. Faculty expectations include but not limited to, writing curriculum, facilitation of student learning experiences, advising and participating in college committees. A Bachelor's Degree of Nursing is required, a Masters in Nursing with emphasis in nursing education is preferred. Candidates with a BSN will need to enroll into a MSN program within 1 year of hire with expectation to graduate in 5 years.
