Nurse Aide/Medication Aide
Nurse Aide/Medication Aide Trainer must have a current LPN or RN license in the State of Nebraska and experience in long-term care preferred. Three years of relevant experience required. Will work days, evenings and occasional weekend hours and assist program director. Must have effective communication and computer skills and willing to work with students. Through prior work experience, education or combination of both must have knowledge and ability to teach and demonstrate skills needed to become a licensed CNA. All instruction is completed in compliance with the NE Department of Health and Human Services Program Certification requirements.
Nurse Assisting and Medication Aide Trainer utilize appropriate lesson plans to provide effective teaching strategies in the classroom. Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning. Demonstrates a strong understanding of the skills needed to train students seeking to become Nurse Aides (CNA), to include past employment, but not limited to nurse aide, supervision of nurses, home care, education, other long-term care settings. Seeking applicants to teach Nurse Aide (CNA) courses in Kearney, NE, and surrounding area. Will teach 76-hour Nursing Assisting and Medication Aide courses. Advanced Manufacturing Plastics Trainer/Coordinator
Requires an Associate degree in Advanced Manufacturing /Machine Tool or Plastic Technology and 3 to 5 years of related work experience. Certification and other industry-related credentials in plastic injection molding are recommended but not required. Substantial interpersonal skills to build relationships with business and industry partners and students, and to negotiate with industrial customers and equipment vendors to obtain training contracts and equipment. Requires a comprehensive understanding of building and maintaining molding equipment and procedures involved in coordinating, facilitating and delivering training programs for manufacturing facilities.
The Advanced Manufacturing Plastics Trainer/Coordinator Position will develop, coordinate and conduct training programs for employees and students interested in working in Advanced Manufacturing/Plastic technology industries. Training content may include Scientific Molding, Precision Measurement, Manual Machine, CNC, Lathes, and Mill training programs. Responsibilities include researching, implementing and marketing the training programs. Ability to investigate and review existing course work relating to Injection Molding, Scientific Molding, and Advanced Manufacturing. Will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures. Experience developing and/or delivering training programs would be beneficial, but not necessary. An individual should have strong computer skills both with hardware and software along with excellent oral and written communications skills. Must be detail-oriented and willing to travel. CCC will provide instructional training.

-Mathematics/Physics Instructors will hold a Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering, or Master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Master's degree in Math and a minimum of 12 graduate credits in Physics or Engineering and five (5) years of collective relevant work experience equating to 3 graduate credits or 10 years of collective relevant work experience equating to a maximum of 6 credits OR 3-6 graduate credits in a related subfield or combination thereof, or Master's degree in Physics and a minimum of 12 graduate credits in Math or Engineering and five (5) years of collective relevant work experience equating to 3 graduate credits or 10 years of collective relevant work experience equating to a maximum of 6 credits OR 3-6 graduate credits in a related subfield OR combination thereof, or Master's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 12 graduate credits in Math or Physics and five (5) years of collective relevant work experience equating to 3 graduate credits or 10 years of collective relevant work experience equating to a maximum of 6 credits OR 3-6 graduate credits in a related subfield OR combination thereof.
-A relatively high level of analytical ability is required for curriculum development and course design aligned with Concepts of Universal Design and Quality Matters, for advising and/or referring students, preparing course plans, and/or other activities.
-A substantial level of interpersonal skills to provide guidance and referrals for students regarding sensitive issues.
-Must have knowledge of Instructional Technology and college software to include: Microsoft Word, Instructional Design Program (WIDS), Moodle, Web-Ex, etc.
-Applicants must have strong interpersonal, oral and written skills.
-The knowledge and experience in teaching a diverse student population enrolled in academic transfer and career and technical programs.
-Ability to teach courses over a variety of offering times from morning through evening, and possibly weekends.
General Summary
Instruction of Mathematics and Physics that include: Applied Calculus, Occupational Math, Elementary/Intermediate/College Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, and Pre-Engineering courses. The instructor will collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean and, as appropriate, the program director in order to assist students in accessing, learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities for a diverse student population, as assigned. Furthermore, the Instructor will professionally represent the college, its role, and mission, including recruiting. The instructor will meet the education and work experience standards set forth in the job specifications. The instructor will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
.Responsibilities include curriculum development, assessment of student learning, course revision and redesign, student advising, and utilization of modern teaching strategies and techniques for servicing a diverse student population.
