POSITION SUMMARY:
- Plans and manages human resources operations-talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, payroll, compliance, health and wellness, company events.
- Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect Centrix's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage our workforce.
- Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in both current and evolving human resources trends, benefits, federal and state employment laws, and regulations to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and organizational needs.
- Implements systems needed, HRIS or other, to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates functional strategies with specific objectives, and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure
- Oversees administration including renewal of all employee benefits in conjunction with outside vendors, and ensures compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulated employment practices (including but not limited to FMLA, FSLA, OSHA 300A report, ACA, Unemployment Compensation, and Worker's Compensation)
- Works with outside vendors ensuring all applicable benefits are administered timely and accurately
- Recruits, interviews, and recommends applicants to fill open and newly created positions
- Oversees new employee orientation and applicable training to introduce new employees to Centrix policies and procedures in compliance with Centrix Quality System
- Plans and manages company-wide employee performance and evaluation process
- Counsels managers and employees on employee relations issues, and ensures compliance with company hiring, reviewing, disciplining, and terminating policies and procedures; conducts exit interviews
- Researches marketplace changes as it pertains to payroll and payroll related taxes
- Researches economic, tax and inflation related changes in consideration of annual increases
- Prepares companywide compensation and benefits budget
- Maintains all personnel, payroll, attendance, benefits, and training records.
- Manages and processes bi-weekly payroll, verifying accuracy, developing, and maintaining payroll analysis reports; reconciles quarterly tax returns
- Acts as Fiduciary, along with President, for the Centrix Incorporated 401k Profit Sharing plan
- Investigates work related injuries and prepares reports for insurance carriers
- Conducts and documents internal investigations and legal matters, and recommends appropriate actions
- Plans and coordinates companywide health and wellness program, and initiates employee relations/recognition programs
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Psychology, Human Resources or other related field preferred
- Human Resources Certification required
- Minimum of seven to ten years' experience required as a Human Resources generalist in a management role
- Ability to be discrete, diplomatic, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented with basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision, as well as part of a team
- Highly computer literate with proven proficiencies in Outlook, Word, and Excel; SharePoint is a plus
