Receptionist
We are a vibrant, committed group of professionals, working together to optimize our patients' health and provide superior service in the delivery of dental care. We are looking for a team member who is equally committed to excellence in customer service to join our front desk as receptionist. Although we work in an atmospher of cooperation through all aspects of the practice, explicit duties for this position include:
- Greet/Check-in patients upon arrival.
- Ensure patient paperwork is in order and up-to-date.
- Answer phone calls and address patient need.
- Monitor schedule and appoint patients.
- Confirm patient appointments and fill vacancies.
- Administer recall program.
- Assist patients with all paperwork and insurance questions.
We are willing to train a motivated candidate who is dedicated to providing superior service to our patients and sincerely desires to be part of our team. Specific skills helpful to this position include:
- Familiarity with major dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Familiarity with basic office software such as Outlook and Word.
- Familiarity with general office equipment and technology (phones, copiers, etc.)
- Is able and motivated to provide excellent customer service, both in person and on the phone.
- Is timely in following through with requested tasks.
- Is punctual, realiable, and a team player.
General hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: 7:15 am to 5:15 pm; Thursdays: 10 am to noon; and Fridays 7:15 am to noon. Empoyees are welcome to work additional hours on Thursdays and Fridays to complete a 40-hour week if they desire.
