Our Ideal Candidate's Education and Experience Include:
•Required: High school diploma or equivalent; One year of commercial cleaning experience.
•Preferred: At least one year of cleaning experience in a school or university setting is preferred.
This Position's Responsibilities Include:
•Clean and dust a variety of areas which may include conference rooms, offices, classrooms, kitchens, living spaces, restrooms, dormitory rooms, laboratories, lobbies, locker rooms, gymnasiums, stairways, corridors and elevators on a daily basis.
•Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms and showers.
•Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, shampoo, strip, refinish and spot clean carpeting and hard surface floors as required.
•Clean glass, chalkboards, display cases, interior partitions and light fixtures which are reachable from the floor.
•Empty trash from receptacles and remove to dumpsters.
•Operate all equipment and cleaning tools related to assigned tasks.
•Considerable physical exertion with extensive standing or walking; Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull; Full use of arms, hands, feet, and legs; Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, with or without corrective lenses; Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
