• Desires to serve students from diverse backgrounds. 

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience:

• Possess an earned doctorate in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely- related discipline.
• Candidates with a master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related discipline, with professional experience and appropriate certifications will be considered.
• Experience in women’s health-related wellness programming or health promotion research.
• Demonstrated leadership activities and certifications from ACSM, NSCA, or related organizations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the exercise science core to include health and wellness for women, fitness assessment and exercise prescription, research methods.
• Conducting, publishing, and presenting research; providing academic advisement.
• Supervising student internship experiences.
• Participating in curriculum development.
• Assisting with recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students.
