We are seeking qualified applicants for the following positions.
Director of Financial Aid
Salary $70's
Responsible for the administration of all Federal, state, institutional, and private funds in accordance with applicable regulations and policies. The Director is considered a working director who maintains systems of accountability, provides information and counseling to students regarding their financial aid eligibility, builds capacity through training of personnel and provides supervision of day-to-day activities in the Financial Aid department. Major tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborating with Admissions Department to support enrollment efforts, awarding of financial aid to students (invoking professional judgments), distributing Federal, state, and institutional funds. Monitors satisfactory academic progress for satisfactory completion of hours by every student receiving financial aid, ensure all electronic processing with Department of Education is functional and timely, submit the final FISAP and other reports
Director of Business Services
Salary $60's
The Director of Business Services is responsible for the supervision of the Business and One Stop offices. The One Stop office's focus is on providing excellent customer services to our students. The One Stop office assists students with questions in reference to cashiering, student refunds, financial aid, and student records. The Business office oversees the College's accounts receivable, revenue, and Agency accounts
Admissions Counselor (Off Site)
Salary Mid $30's
This position will focus on freshman recruitment with an assigned region in greater Nebraska covering most of Nebraska, excluding nine counties in the far eastern side and some limited travel in Colorado and Kansas. Work in that territory includes planning and conducting high school visits; meeting with students, parents, and guidance counselors; representing Peru State at various college/day/night programs; and extensive follow up with prospective students and their families. Some travel to area community colleges will be included. Counselors will review student financial aid award letters including scholarship and all forms of financial aid with admitted students and parents. The counselor will work remotely out of a home office and be required to be on campus 2-3 times per month along with specified events such as campus visits, special recruitment days and orientation/registration days. In addition to recruitment efforts, this position will be responsible for working with marketing on the development of recruitment materials and promotional items and provide leadership for the college's social media.
Athletic Trainer
Salary Low $40's
This is a new position that will provide preventative care, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Will be responsible for serving the medical needs of the student athletes and assisting coaches with information concerning the care and rehabilitation of the student athlete. Will work with student athletes and coaching staff in injury prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, and coordinate personnel for games. Main sport assignment is anticipated to be volleyball and assisting with other sports as needed and during off-season, but sport assignment could change depending on department needs.
