Golf Starter/Ranger

• Spread goodwill among all patrons.
• Perform “welcome presentation” for each group.
• Give brief background information on the Crystal Springs Resort.
• Explain the rules of the golf course.
• Explain pace of play policy
• Mention 9th tee telephone and beverage cart service
• Provide the highest possible level of service at all times
• Maintain player tracking sheet, and record turn times
• Maintain constant communications with the player assistants
• Ensure that player assistants are positioned properly
• Ensure that “slow groups” are notified to “pick up the pace”
• Ensure that problems are handled with efficiency and diplomacy
• Collect and review player-tracking sheets from player assistants
• Train all player assistants in conjunction with Director of Golf/ Pro Manager
• Train all cart attendants in conjunction with Director of Golf/ Pro Manager
• Ensure that all player assistants are performing daily duties and checklists
• Ensure that all cart attendants are performing daily duties and checklists
• Ensure that every customer is afforded club cleaning before and after round
• Ensure that every cart is spotless prior to rental
• Ensure that staff complies with appearance; uniform, and name tag standards
• Communicate all questions and concerns to the Director of Golf/ Pro Manager

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic
• Must posses good communications skills to interact with guests and co-workers
