Journeyman Plumber/Pipefitter/Welder
Midlands Mechanical, Inc. is looking for experienced journeymen & apprentices to join our team. The ideal journeyman candidate is a leader and an expert in the trade. You must have a proactive approach, be highly-motivated, enthusiastic, possess relative problem solving techniques and the ability to demonstrate to our customer that we are happy to be on their job, solving their problems and that we enjoy doing it.
Plumbers/Pipefitters/Welders - We will teach you all you need to know to perform layout and installation of piping/plumbing systems. When you begin your apprenticeship, you will be taught to read blueprints and learn about the installation, testing, repair, inspection and maintenance of a variety plumbing and piping systems. This is done by measuring, cutting, bending and joining pipe by welding, brazing, soldering, gluing or threading joints of pipe or tubing made of cast iron, steel, copper or plastic. Travel is required.

Journeyman Plumber/Pipefitter/Welder Wages $16 - $30/ hour depending on experience.
• Must have a complete and thorough understanding of all plumbing and mechanical
systems, not only how they are installed, but also how they function
• Installs and maintains various piping systems including but not limited to, plumbing,
hydronic, med gas & process piping systems.
• Uses trade tools and other equipment as required
• Read, interpret and understand specifications, addenda, submittals and construction
schedules
• Ensure all work is performed and completed as specified by contract, engineering drawings,
specifications and applicable codes
• Keep up to date on the latest innovations in our trade.
• Be highly motivated to be the best in the industry

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds on a regular basis
• Read, interpret and understand specifications, addenda, submittals and construction
schedules
• Must have an understanding of math, basic algebra and geometry
• Full understanding of Plumbing and Mechanical trade codes, formulas and industry
standards
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Be willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Journeymen Requirements:
