Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst. Nebraska Medicine. 600 South 42nd Street, Omaha, NE 68198. Coordinate all necessary IT related services for by analyzing user requirements, conducting problem assessment activities, developing system proposals, applying project management techniques in the selection, and planning. Diagnose and resolve problem management efforts and provide guidance to other team members for the ongoing maintenance of the information systems. Provide project management defining resource needs, project timelines, implementation schedules and other duties to ensure timely project completion. Gather and analyze information for the acquisition and modification of information systems by working closely with the end users to evaluate and develop criteria for the selection or improvement of systems to support operational objectives. Bachelor’s, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management or Information Systems, or related required together with 36 months experience in information technology and ability to analyze, organize, assign and problem solve, work independently, achieve deadlines and take initiative on projects, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and communication, both oral and written, knowledge of general office equipment and Microsoft Office applications.
