Description
The Deep Learning laboratory in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on developing new theories, algorithms, and applications for Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL).
The successful applicant will work closely with Professor Keith Ross and his team to research on deep reinforcement learning, with the goal of making fundamental contributions in new algorithms and publishing in top machine learning venues. The team aims to make progress with theory, algorithms, and applications. The candidate will work with a small team of post-docs, PhD students, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, have significant expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and probability theory, and must have significant experience with PyTorch. Ideally the candidate has published papers in top deep learning conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR.
The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
