Industrial Utilities Technician-Night Shift
Work Schedule:
12 hour shifts
6:30pm-6:00am B Team
Schedule 3-2-2-3
Job Duties:
1. Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, operate, maintain, and repair plant utility systems and equipment. Including internal and external repairs to buildings, grounds, and welfare areas.
2. Maintain all building and support equipment including but not limited to ammonia system, boilers and steam system, air compressors, building plumbing, building electrical, wastewater pretreatment facility, and HPHW system.
3. Monitor and record system performance daily and make adjustments to assure the safe and efficient operation of plant utility systems and equipment.
4. Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
5. Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
6. Ensure all PSM procedures are followed and documented.
7. Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
8. Provide direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel and machine operators.
9. Perform other duties as assigned and general maintenance work, as needed, with production equipment.
Requirements:
Certified or ability to obtain certification for use of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment.
Qualified candidates cannot have an open written warnings, written notices, and any other write ups.
Cannot have more than 8 attendance points.
Must have at least 6 months of employment.
