Digital Graphic Designer
PERU STATE COLLEGE

Salary low to mid $40's, DOQ.

Will photograph and video campus life and events, design and produce multimedia content for websites and social media using design software such as Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and InDesign, and produce brochures, publications, advertisements, and other information and promotional literature for the College. Will utilize digital photography software, write specifications for bids on printing projects, and work with college personnel in the planning and production of these items. This position is exempt with regard to FLSA overtime provisions. This position is covered by the NSCPA negotiated agreement.

Bachelor's degree in journalism, graphic design, commercial art or related field.

Layout and design skills are essential as well as the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Design experience including publication and computer proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro highly preferred, as well as demonstrated ability to integrate new software into workflow and outcomes. Prior experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint is preferred as well as previous Lightroom and SketchUp experience. Preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with others in a professional manner and possess self-motivation, initiative, time management skills and the ability to multitask. Three to five years previous experience is preferred.
