Director of Charter Sales
A Director of Charter Sales will be responsible for overseeing a full-time staff of charter coordinators and maximizing efficiency within PJC sales and scheduling departments. This position will engage in activities ranging from training of staff members to daily operations directives and future pricing strategies. This position will work closely across departments to ensure that our customers receive a professional and efficient service and be ultimately responsible for developing customer relationships which build loyalty to our brand. RESPONSBILITIES
- Analyze charter market supply and demand trends
- Understand dynamic pricing as it relates to the charter jet marketplace
- Develop knowledge base of all PJC aircraft and effectively communicate the proper aircraft information and choices to clients
- Handle confidential and proprietary information
- Provide strong, positive leadership, guidance, and continuous training to the team in line with our company goals.
- Achieve and maintain sales team goal metrics.
- Provide dynamic scheduling skills to enhance our fleets utilization.
- Excellent, clear, communication across all departments.
- Work efficiently and effectively with all Pittsburgh Jet systems including JetInsight, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, DocuSign and others
- Understand the fundamentals of flight operations and basic Federal Aviation Regulations
- Understand costs, permits, limitations and other factors in international flight operations
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years experience working in Part 135 aviation preferred
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred but not required
- Be willing to work a rotating schedule of nights, weekends and holidays
- The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must work well under pressure and be able to multitask
- Always maintain a high degree of professionalism
