Assistant County Attorney I – Criminal Division
This position performs professional legal work involving legal research, precedent issues, law enforcement issues, jury and court trials, court and administrative hearings, appeals, and contested cases. Assignments are usually specialized as to type such as criminal prosecution, tax work, property law issues, or human services agency work. Represents Scott County and the State of Minnesota in legal matters and provide legal guidance to all departments within the County.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires admission to the bar in the State of Minnesota. The incumbent shall possess a valid driver's license and provide a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities.
Hiring Range: $63,021 – $78,777 annually
