SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Servier Pharmaceuticals is a patient-centric pharmaceutical company focused in oncology and based in Boston, MA. The Project Management Lead reports directly to the Head of Corporate Strategy and Operations. This position offers a candidate the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor who provides advice, leadership, and oversight for the planning and execution of activities associated with strategic projects including potential acquisitions. The Project Management Lead serves as the hub and coordinating body for project activities and as a functional liaison for implementation activities.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Project Management
- Coordinate with the global Project Management Office to define, manage, and communicate the program governance, timelines, and deliverables
- Develop methods, tools and templates for project teams efficiently organize, plan and report on activities for executive reporting
- Work collaboratively with the business to assess, build out transition plans and execute on activities
- Schedule weekly meetings to review project status with functional team(s), identify goals, update status, issues, and update project documentation
- Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure cross-dependencies are addressed and project workstreams are not siloed
- Schedule weekly management team meetings to provide status updates and to drive key decision-making and issues to closure
- Proactively identify risks/roadblocks and facilitates the development of mitigation activities and contingency plans to address identified risks
- Ensure that all project deliverables are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Create dashboards for executive and employee reporting
2. Program Alignment
- Coordinate with the global Project Management Office to ensure US activities are aligned with the overall program goals and supports achievement of critical success factors
- Capture cross-functional dependencies and develop contingency plans as needed
- Present key details and/or potential risks regarding the project to stakeholders when necessary
Skills and Education:
- Bachelor's degree with five years of project management experience and at least 3 years in a leadership position; acquisition integration related experience is preferred
- Top-tier management consulting experience is a plus with experience in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work effectively under tight timelines
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan and execute enterprise-wide programs and projects
- Ability to successfully partner and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization throughout the project life cycle
- Proficiency in balancing competing priorities by applying solid project management skills
- Ability to be strategic while breaking down large and complex issues into manageable pieces

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
