HR Generalist
Standard Motor Products, Independence, KS is recruiting for an ambitious, detail-oriented HR professional with effective employee relations skills. The primary responsibilities for this position will be benefits administration, salaried payroll, and managing our temporary workforce pool.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interpretation and administration of policies and procedures
- Employee relations,
- Assisting in coordination of events for a facility with approximately 400 employees.
In order to be considered, you must have either a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field, or some college plus significant related experience. Also requires a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive responsibilities and experience in an HR or comparable position.
Other helpful experience would be a knowledge and understanding of State and Federal Human Resources laws, regulations and requirements, and experience in HR administration with an automated system such as Ceridian/Dayforce, ADP, or Kronos. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
