Essential Functions
The Division of Academic Affairs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for the Director of Academic Budget. The Director reports to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and is responsible for the supervision of one or more full-time staff members. The Director provides planning and decision support to the Senior Vice Chancellor and administrative leadership within the Division of Academic Affairs through compiling, analyzing and communicating budget data that contributes to sound decision making in planning and allocating resources. The Director oversees all aspects of business activities for the Division while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The Director participates in short and long-range strategic planning; contributes to designing, developing and delivering policies and procedures and presents recommendations for improvement of established processes and practices; collaborates with colleagues in all Divisions within the University; identifies and resolves unique problems of substantial significance that affect the Division; and completes other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties
Required Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related field.
Required Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience.
It is required the Director possess superior analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in related field.
