Job Description Summary:
The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for implementing best recruitment practices through-out the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). This highly visible position will collaborate and develop strong business relationships with all levels of KUMC leadership to assist in recruiting the best applicants. The incumbent will deliver efficient, effective, and progressive services in the areas of employee recruitment and on-boarding, strategic partnerships with hiring managers, and identifying qualified applicants that serve the university's rapidly changing needs and priorities.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational development or closely related field, or relevant Human Resource experience may substitute on a year for year basis.
Work Experience:
- Two years' experience recruiting and on-boarding using an applicant tracking system.
- Excellent communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
- Three or more years recruiting experience in higher education and/or healthcare institution
- Two or more years of experience in human resources.
Skills:
- Experience with any electronic applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
- Ability to interact professionally with stake holders at various levels within an organization.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
