Job Summary
The Institute for Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to serve the Department for Medicaid Services as part of the Behavioral health Policy team. The position will provide clinical oversight and technical assistance to the Certified Community Behavior Health Clinic ( CCBHC) demonstration related to mental health and substance use disorder policies and evidence based practices. You will work as part of the team to implement the certification and monitoring of treatment services and ensure the implementation and evaluation of the CCBHCs meet the federal guidelines. You will also serve as a representative of the behavioral health policy team with the managed care organizations (MCOs) and will collaborate with sister agencies related to the CCBHC demonstration. Clinical experience in the behavioral health field is preferred (5+yrs).
This position is currently hybrid with occasional in-person meetings in Frankfort, KY.
