Job Description

Capital Region Medical Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a fun, busy, and team-oriented work environment. Our opportunity involves full time clinic hours Monday through Friday.

This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing care of health conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs, practicing to the top of the licensure. This position will accumulate a panel of his/her own patients and follow them medically through the lifespan.

Capital Region Medical Center is a full service health care system that encompasses a full service acute care hospital, the area's most expansive clinic system, a state of the art Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital based fitness facility, home health agency and the only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center in the community. The hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds. Referrals come from our 160+ employed providers who staff a system of 36 clinics in an 8 county service area of 225K people.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 40 hours

Minimum Qualifications

Physician Assistant:
Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Nurse Practitioner:
Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Physician Assistant:
Certified Physician Assistant (PA) certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Nurse Practitioner:

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $78,520-$127,962

GGS Grade: PAT-011

University Title: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
