Clerical Assistant III

This position will be part of the Office of the University Registrar. Primary responsibility will be facilitating the entire student appeals process. Process all student verifications requests received by students, various outside agencies, and the National Student Clearinghouse on a daily basis.
PeopleSoft maintenance: Process all registration issues which includes requests by the students, advisors, instructors; process registration changes when notified by departments and colleges when student don't meet requirements to enroll in certain course; assist with the processing of audits. This position will be responsible for all name changes for current and past UNO students as well as Social Security Number and ITIN changes and gender changes.
Responsible for front counter and phone coverage for the Office of the University Registrar.
This person is also responsible for processing all probation and suspensions each fall and spring semesters. Additional responsibilities to include but not limited to serving as back up for other operations in the office, filing, scanning and assist with graduation audits. Orders office supplies for the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
