TAC Operations Coordinator
Thompson Alumni Center


Prepare monthly financial statements, prepare monthly summaries of rental activities, and monitor collections of rental fees. Reconciling all catering debts and credits. Apply all UNO catering event invoices to Thompson Center invoices and send to UNO accounting. Responsible for performing invoicing for private, corporate, and university clients. Receive deposit monies from clients. Prepare invoices for outside clients and mail. Prepare income/expense transfer forms for university clients. Receive I/E forms and relay to UNO Accounting. Maintain records on delinquent accounts and send reminders then collect the outstanding balance. Collect and refund damage deposit monies. Answer phone calls from alumni, departments on campus, and the public. Greet incoming guests and assist with inquiries, as necessary. Consult with current and prospective clients to determine event dates and times, space requirements, and audio/visual equipment needs and provide catering information. Prepare contract form, informational packet, menu, receipt, etc. Work with catering daily to confirm room set-up and food arrangements. Work with custodial crew daily to ensure proper room set-ups. Assist the Facility Director with the Thompson Center operations. Assistance, as determined by the Facility Director, may include providing tours to prospective clients, and electronic and walk-in inquiries by booked and prospective clients. Assisting clients with on-site set up of audio-visual tools and equipment; booking events with the scheduling software. Fulfill event set-up needs and other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
•Associate degree or will consider equivalent combination of education and work experience.
•Working with automated accounting software and scheduling systems.

Salary Information: $38,800/year
