This position designs, develops and manages University Operations' educational and developmental opportunities, as well as initiatives related to achieving the organizational vision and strategic plan of Inclusive Excellence. Identifies the instructional and developmental needs of the division staff and serves as the principal organizational resource person, maintaining awareness of current and emerging educational technologies and initiatives, and aligns organizational initiatives with the vision and strategic plan of Business and Finance. Oversees coordination and documentation of the division's educational and developmental opportunities. Serves as a coach/mentor for staff in various departments as needed to impart and improve inter-personal skills. Assist the division leaders in drafting and managing position descriptions and career ladders for effective recruiting and retention. Serve as a consultant in reorganizational efforts for divisions as necessary. This position reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor of University Operations.
