We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time faculty position serving Nebraska statewide. The major responsibility of this position is to lead statewide 4-H youth development efforts to engage youth in innovation and entrepreneurship. The primary focus is to develop a comprehensive, visionary, contemporary, expanded youth development program by enhancing partnerships, strengthening the volunteer base, increasing funding, and growing program enrollment. We want individuals who are self-directed and able to work in a flexible environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree required; one degree in youth development, education, or closely related field. Master's degree must be completed by start date.
• A minimum of three years of experience in leading innovative formal or non-formal educational programs designed to help young people foster entrepreneurial thinking and/or understand their environment.
• Experience and demonstrated ability in working with youth and youth organizations including understanding of positive youth development and youth program management.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in working with under-served audiences.
• Familiarity with business concepts, business plans, entrepreneurship, or experience starting a business.
• Experience in the leadership and oversight of Environmental Education programs and camps.
