We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time faculty position located in Omaha, Nebraska and serving Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska. The focus of this position will be 4-H Youth Development with an emphasis on career and college readiness programming, partnering with schools and community organizations for out of school time program delivery and reaching underserved audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree required; one degree in youth development, education, entrepreneurship, community development, or closely related field. Master's degree must be completed by start date.
- Successful experience teaching in a formal or non-formal setting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e. publications, presentations, web, and social media).
- Experience working with individuals, coworkers, partnering organizations, and teams to accomplish individual and/or group goals, as evidenced by college, career, and/or community activities.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in working with youth and youth organizations, including understanding of positive youth development and youth program management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with under-served audiences.
- Familiarity with college preparation and career readiness skills.
- Demonstrated experience in working as a team displaying strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
