Position will oversee the financial and operational activities within the Durham School and assist in managing day-to-day academic and programmatic activities. In addition to providing organizational support to the Director, act as a point of contact for students, faculty, staff, alumni, College of Engineering, University employees, industry and other internal and external stakeholders. Provide a presence on both City Campus and Scott Campus to support faculty, staff and students.
Aid in the development and administration of DSAEC policies and procedures. Facilitate the optimal utilization of resources and assist in the development of a positive culture to ensure the success of the Durham School. Provide leadership and guidance with regard to Durham School initiatives, School goals and strategies. Serve as a member of the DSAEC Leadership Team and support the Durham School through three primary areas: Administrative, Fiscal, and Internal/External Relationships.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus five years of business operations experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field and experience in fostering relationships, implementing special initiatives, and managing complex projects.
