Werner Enterprises seeks Sr. Software Engineer – Java Business Systems (Job HQ in Omaha, NE or remote w/in USA). Analyze information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to design solutions for complex business problems. Develop information systems by designing, developing, testing and implementing software solutions. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and presentations. Research and resolve production support issues as they occur. Mentor less experienced developers. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 7 years related experience or a Master's degree in the same with 3 years of experience. Demonstrated ability with the following: modern software development practices to draw upon for solving complex problems, work in an agile/SAFe environment. Salary Range: $124,779 - $159,462.
