We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and productive individual to lead West Central Community Action’s Early Head Start and Head Start Programs.
An ideal candidate is passionate about serving and supporting low-income children and families by empowering families to achieve their highest potential. The ideal candidate will be skilled in leadership, communication, and collaboration with a variety of personnel and community leaders. Our high-quality, early childhood education and family services program supports guides and mentors families through a broad spectrum of comprehensive services.
The Harlan Iowa-based position will lead staff members in a 10-county service area of Southwest Iowa. Programs include Early Head Start and Head Start center-based, Early Head Start home-based, and school partnership services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Public Administration or Social Sciences with 3years experience in management, supervision, budget-setting, and Iowa Licensing regulations is required.
