Westside High School Principal
Westside Community Schools, a nationally acclaimed school district located in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska is conducting a national search for the Principal of the district's only high school, to begin on/about July 1, 2022.
Qualified candidates must hold, or be eligible for, a valid Nebraska Administrative Certificate. Doctorate in Education and five-plus years of successful administration experience preferred.
Westside Community Schools is seeking a:
Courageous Educational Leader, able to cultivate a positive school culture that:

- Fosters key initiatives and culture characteristics that impact student learning and achievement
- Encourages a positive, professional rapport between staff, students, and parents
- Models and develops effective systems to promote a professional educational environment that is collaborative, safe, orderly, and respectful
High Performing Instructional Leader, able to:
- Maximize modular scheduling implementation to ensure student learning at the highest levels
- Establish a shared leadership model and lead a learning community
- Utilize accountability measures and hold staff and students responsible for their part
- Pursue additional innovative educational opportunities for all students
- Integrate new and existing technologies
- Facilitate student and staff engagement and maintain outstanding academic achievement
- Reflect the mission and goals of Westside in the school's programs and operations
- Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality staff, including those from diverse identities
- Assure safety and welfare of students and staff during school and at school-sponsored activities
- Adhere to the code of ethics of the District, Nebraska Department of Education, and AASA
