Employee and Labor Relations Coordinator
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an employee and labor relations coordinator to assist with employee and labor relations, including managing employee relationships, coordinating collective bargaining activities (if applicable), and ensuring legal compliance.
Duties include developing and improving employee relationships through chairing the FUN committee, organizing employee events and wellness activities, coordinating employee recognition activities, and conducting surveys; preparing for and managing collective bargaining activities (if applicable); advising employees and supervisors about employment policies and procedures, applicable federal/state employment laws, performance management and disciplinary actions; coordinating the performance appraisal process; maintaining knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations; and preparing and presenting educational materials, flyers and presentations.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field; five years of relevant work experience, with at least one year of labor relations experience; a strong working knowledge of group insurance benefits; and excellent Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, desktop publishing, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in higher education and/or marketing and hold a SHRM certification.

This is a full-time position with excellent fringe benefits. The starting salary for this position will likely not exceed $75,000 per year, but will be no less than $62,100, depending on qualifications and experience.
